1Liga top team - Wisla Krakow (7-0) managed to deliver another win on Wednesday. This time they beat sixth ranked Swarzedz (3-4) 74-61. Wisla Krakow dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Swarzedz's 20. Wisla Krakow forced 23 Swarzedz turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a quality performance for Martyna Stasiuk (178-1989) who led the winners and scored 25 points and 7 rebounds. Paulina Kuczynska (177-1997) accounted for 17 points and 5 assists for the winning side. Marta Wdowiuk (179-1998) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and Magdalena Wojdalska (173-1994) added 8 points, 8 assists and 5 steals respectively for Swarzedz in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Wisla Krakow have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 7-0 record. Loser Swarzedz dropped to the eighth position with four games lost. They share it with Rybnik. Wisla Krakow will meet Sleza 2 (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Swarzedz will play against Enea AZS II P. in Ponzan and hope to secure a win.
