No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Gallarate (4-3) defeated on the road 13th ranked Oleggio (2-5) 78-70 on Wednesday. It was a great evening for Matteo Clerici (199-1992) who led his team to a victory scoring 11 points and 9 rebounds. Center Riccardo Antonelli (208-1988) helped adding 12 points and 8 rebounds. Four Gallarate players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Matteo Maruca (185-1997) responded with 19 points and Tommaso Ingrosso (206-1992, college: W.Texas CC) scored 8 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Gallarate moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 10 other teams. Oleggio lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the twelfth position with five games lost. They share it with 6 other teams. Gallarate will meet at home Pavia (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Oleggio will play against Sangiorgese in San Giorgio and hope to secure a win.
