Regular Season Round 7: Quintanar - BT Madrid 90-65

Very expected game when 13th ranked BT Madrid (1-4) was smashed on the road by seventh ranked Quintanar (3-2) 90-65 on Saturday. Quintanar outrebounded BT Madrid 42-28 including 31 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for Ousman Sima (-2001) who led the winners and scored 16 points. Polish swingman Pawel Robak (195-1996) accounted for 14 points for the winning side. Four Quintanar players scored in double figures. Tiago Teixeira (-2004) came up with 12 points and 5 rebounds and Russian forward Nikita Grechko (200-2001) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for BT Madrid in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Quintanar moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 7 other teams. Newly promoted BT Madrid dropped to the twelfth position with four games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Quintanar will meet Chlorella (#8) on the road in the next round. BT Madrid will play against Valsequillo (#9) and hope to win that game.
