Regular Season Round 3: Angers - Hainaut 78-54

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when Hainaut (1-2) was crushed on the road by Angers (1-2) 78-54 on Saturday. Angers forced 19 Hainaut turnovers. It was a great evening for American point guard Alexis Peterson (173-1995, college: Syracuse) who led her team to a victory scoring 18 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Power forward Kekelly Elenga (184-1991) helped adding 20 points and 9 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). Four Angers players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American-Nigerian power forward Oderah Chidom (193-1995, college: Duke) with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Natalie Kucowski (190-1998, college: Lafayette, agency: LBM Management) scored 4 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Angers will meet Lyon (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hainaut will play against Tarbes and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
