Regular Season Round 8: Sleza 2 - Wisla Krakow 61-78

Everything went according to plan in Wroclaw where top-ranked Wisla Krakow (8-0) beat 7th ranked Sleza 2 (3-4) 78-61 on Saturday. Wisla Krakow dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Sleza 2's 22 and made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Wisla Krakow forced 24 Sleza 2 turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Martyna Stasiuk (178-1989) who scored 26 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). Point guard Martyna Jasiulewicz (173-1998) chipped in 21 points, 6 assists and 4 steals (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Wisla Krakow's coach Michal Sumara used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
