Very important is a road loss of third ranked IDK Eustotren (4-3) against ninth ranked Valencia (4-3) on Saturday night. Visiting IDK Eustotren was defeated by Valencia in a tough game in Valencia 81-86. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of IDK Eustotren. The former international swingman Queralt Casas (177-1992) notched 14 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international guard Leticia Romero (173-1995, college: FSU) supported her with 16 points. Valencia's coach Ruben Burgos used entire bench in such tough game. Even 24 points by swingman Maria Espana (180-1992) did not help to save the game for IDK Eustotren. American forward Joy Adams (180-1993, college: Iona) added 11 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Valencia and four IDK Eustotren players scored in double figures. Valencia moved-up to fifth place, which they share with IDK Eustotren and Gernika. Valencia will play against Bembibre (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. IDK Eustotren will play against Zaragoza (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
