Regular Season Round 9: Ockelbo - Eskilstuna 81-85

There was a surprise result when tenth ranked Eskilstuna (4-5) defeated on the road higher ranked Ockelbo (4-5) 85-81. Forward Jonathan Ninkingira (198-1999, college: Three Rivers) nailed a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and guard Einar Bradd (187-2000) accounted for 20 points and 11 rebounds. Canadian-Vincentian forward Opong Bramble (201-1997, college: CBU, agency: Helping Ballers) came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Edvin Stark (183-1999) added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for Ockelbo in the defeat. Four Ockelbo players scored in double figures. Ockelbo's coach David Torrescusa tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Eskilstuna moved-up to seventh place, which they share with defeated Ockelbo. Eskilstuna will play against higher ranked Tureberg (#3) in Stockholm in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Ockelbo will play against Sloga Uppsala (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
