Regular Season Round 7: SESE - Tarragona 69-63

There was a surprise result when tenth ranked SESE (3-4) won against higher ranked Tarragona (3-4) in Barcelona 69-63 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for power forward Alberto Reyes (195-1990) who led the winners and scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Center Fernand Vilar (202-2003, agency: BIG) accounted for 10 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Power forward Josep Juan Miguel (204-1981) came up with 6 points and 11 rebounds and Marc Buscail (-2003) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Tarragona in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for SESE. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 7 other teams including defeated Tarragona. SESE will meet higher ranked Navas (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Tarragona will play against Roser and hope to secure a win.
