No shocking result in a game when leader Llucmajor (6-0) crushed at home 8th ranked Azulejos (3-4) 95-54 on Saturday. Llucmajor forced 22 Azulejos turnovers and outrebounded them 46-32 including a 37-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for American-British center Kaj-Bjorn Sherman (213-1992, college: UTSA, agency: Helping Ballers) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds. Center Antoni Vicens (204-1990) accounted for 17 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Four Llucmajor players scored in double figures. Llucmajor's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Mouhamed Diallo came up with 15 points and 9 rebounds and Pablo Gracia (197-1996) added 9 points respectively for Azulejos in the defeat. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Llucmajor. They maintain first place with 6-0 record, which they share with La Leonesa and LBC Cocinas. Loser Azulejos dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. They share it with 7 other teams. Llucmajor will meet Martorell (#13) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Azulejos will play against Girona B (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
