Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked Pozzuoli (0-7) was defeated at home by third ranked Caserta BLE (5-2) 77-70 on Saturday. It was a great evening for point guard Diego Lucas (178-1996, college: St.Mary's, KS) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points. Point guard Davide Mastroianni (185-2001) helped adding 18 points. At the losing side guard Marco Cucco (189-1994) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 assists and Montenegrin power forward Fatih Mehmedovic (205-2000, agency: SLN) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. Four Pozzuoli players scored in double figures. Pozzuoli's coach Valerio Spinelli rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Caserta BLE.
