The game between sixth ranked Lithuanian Aistes-LSMU (4-2) and 7th ranked Latvian Liepaja/LSSS (2-2) in Kaunas ended with biggest points difference. Aistes-LSMU outscored guests from Liepaja 112-57. Aistes-LSMU dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Liepaja/LSSS's 28. They outrebounded Liepaja/LSSS 51-20 including a 19-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Aistes-LSMU players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. Liepaja/LSSS was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a quality performance of point guard Audrone Zdaneviciute (166-2003) who helped to win the game recording 28 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Aistes-LSMU. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with LCC Tarp. Liepaja/LSSS at the other side keeps the seventh position with two games lost. Aistes-LSMU will play against Siauliai (#8) on the road in the next round. Liepaja/LSSS will play against RSU and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
