Very predictable result when second ranked Zamarat (7-2) rolled over 15th ranked Cordoba (2-8) in Zamora 76-44 on Saturday. They outrebounded Cordoba 39-27 including 27 on the defensive glass. American-Nigerian center Nneka Ezeigbo (188-1998, college: RMU) nailed a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and Brazilian forward Nany Carvalho (188-1997, college: Kansas) accounted for 14 points and 8 rebounds. They maintain second place with 7-2 record behind leader Ferrol, which they share with Joventut. Cordoba lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifteenth position with eight games lost. Zamarat will meet Al-Qazeres (#6) in the next round. Cordoba will play against Alcobendas (#9) and hope to secure a win.
