Regular Season Round 5: CFBB - Charnay 56-64
Date: November 12, 2022
Bottom-ranked CFBB is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fifth consecutive match to second ranked Charnay (4-1) 64-56 on Saturday evening. Charnay forced 23 CFBB turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by CFBB's players. The former international forward Maeva Djaldi-Tabdi (188-1998, college: Miami, FL) nailed 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and Mali center Diana Balayera (191-1996, agency: Areus Sports) accounted for 12 points. Swingman Marine Dursus (174-2005) came up with 14 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Ines Pitarch-Granel (182-2006) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively for CFBB in the defeat.
