There was a surprise result when fourteenth ranked Cd'Orlando (2-5) defeated on the road higher ranked Palermo (3-4) 80-73 on Sunday. Cd'Orlando made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for guard Matteo Lagana (189-2000) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points. Latvian Ricards Klanskis (201-2003) helped adding 14 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side power forward Giuseppe Caronna (208-1994) responded with 13 points and 7 rebounds and Dario Masciarelli (195-1998) scored 14 points. Palermo's coach Marco Verderosa rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Cd'Orlando moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with 6 other teams.
