Everything went according to plan in Solna where eighth ranked Norrort (4-2) beat 11th ranked AIK Basket (2-7) 93-82. Norrort players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Guard David Niklasson (193-1995, college: N.Platte CC) nailed 26 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and Max Brygt accounted for 22 points and 6 rebounds. Five Norrort players scored in double figures. Turkish forward Cenk Sekeroglu (203-1991) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists and naturalized Turkish Erkan Inan (195-1989) added 16 points and 8 assists respectively for AIK Basket in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Norrort moved-up to fifth place. AIK Basket lost their third game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with seven games lost. They share it with Huddinge. Norrort will play against Wetterbygden (#13) in Huskvarna in the next round and are hoping to win another game. AIK Basket will play on the road against the league's second-placed Helsingborg and hopes to get back on the winning track.
