Regular Season Round 10: MKS DG 2 - AZS PCz 89-59

Everything could happen in Dabrowa Gornicza at the game between two tied teams. Both twelfth ranked MKS DG 2 and 15th ranked AZS PC had identical 2-7 record. This time MKS DG 2 used a home court advantage and rolled over the opponent from Czestochowa 89-59 on Wednesday night. MKS DG 2 outrebounded AZS PC 53-42 including 17 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Guard Kacper Margiciok (191-2003) notched a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and swingman Kamil Wojciak (193-1985) supported him with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Four MKS DG 2 players scored in double figures. MKS DG 2's coach Wojciech Wieczorek felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 17 points and 16 rebounds by forward Kamil Nawrot (198-2002) did not help to save the game for AZS PC. Dawid Jozefowski (184-1996) added 18 points for lost side. MKS DG 2 maintains twelfth position with 3-7 record, which they share with Sudety. AZS PC lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth place with eight games lost. They share the position with 6 other teams. MKS DG 2 will meet higher ranked Korona (#9) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. AZS PC will play against Rybnik (#7) and hope to secure a win.
