HydroTruck (9-1) recorded its first loss in Tychy on Wednesday night. Visitors were edged by third ranked GKS (8-2) 98-96. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of HydroTruck. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. GKS made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. GKS had a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Power forward Patryk Kedel (201-1999) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Forward Kacper Makowski (196-1999) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Five GKS players scored in double figures. American point guard Kaheem Ransom (186-1993, college: SHSU) produced 37 points (!!!), 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals and Filip Zegzula (188-1994) added 23 points respectively for lost side. GKS moved-up to second place, which they share with Starogard Gd. and Dziki Wwa. HydroTruck at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. GKS is looking forward to face Polonia (#17) in Bytom in the next round which should be an easy win for them. HydroTruck will have a break next round.
