There was a surprise result in Warszawa where sixteenth ranked Polonia (3-7) beat higher ranked Enea Basket (5-5) 69-59 on Wednesday. Patryk Pelka (202-1989) had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Michal Kierlewicz (193-1997) chipped in 8 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side guard Marcin Tomaszewski (193-1998) responded with 18 points and 7 rebounds and guard Marcin Dymala (187-1990) scored 6 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Polonia moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Enea Basket at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. They share it with Krosno and Slask 2. Polonia will meet WKK (#15) in the next round. Enea Basket will play against Turow (#14) and hope to secure a win.
