Everything went according to plan when third ranked Tur Bielsk Pdl. (7-2) defeated 6th ranked Zubry (6-4) in Bialystok 69-61 on Saturday. Point guard Bartlomiej Wroblewski (181-1992) notched 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and Belarusian center Pavel Karasevich (203-1989) supported him with 8 points and 10 rebounds. Even 7 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists by Andrzej Misiewicz (199-1984, college: Daytona St.) did not help to save the game for Zubry. Szymon Jaworski (183-1998) added 13 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for lost side. Four Zubry players scored in double figures. Tur Bielsk Pdl. have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 7-2 record having just three points less than leader Energa W-wa, which they share with AZS UMK and UR Krakow. Loser Zubry keeps the sixth place with four games lost. They share the position with 5 other teams.
