Not a big story in a game in Oslo where 7th ranked Ammerud Bskt (3-6) was outplayed by fifth ranked Baerum Basket (7-5) 75-53 on Saturday. Baerum Basket outrebounded Ammerud Bskt 47-35 including 33 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Steffon Mitchell (203-1997, college: Boston Coll.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 25 rebounds and the former international guard Stian Mjoes (183-1989) who added 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. American-Jamaican guard Xavier Sewell (192-1996, college: WAU) responded with 15 points and 8 rebounds and Swedish swingman Mustafa Dibba (186-1995) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Baerum Basket maintains fifth position with 7-5 record. Loser Ammerud Bskt dropped to the eighth place with six games lost. Baerum Basket will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Ammerud Bskt will play against Tromso (#4) and hope to secure a win.
