There was a minor upset when 9th ranked Ancona (3-4) lost on the road to eleventh ranked San Salvatore (3-4) 57-45 on Saturday. San Salvatore forced 20 Ancona turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when San Salvatore made 11 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for Argentinian power forward Sofia Aispurua (188-1995) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds.
