Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Cerdanyola (2-6) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Segle XXI (5-3) 56-45 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Iyana Martin (172-2006) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 5 assists (perfect from the field making all six shots) and Laia Conesa (173-2005) who added 8 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Power forward Claudia Baraut (181-1994) responded with 16 points and 9 rebounds and forward Laura Soria (180-2000) scored 11 points and 4 steals. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Segle XXI moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams.
