Regular Season Round 10: Peja - Vellaznimi 82-91

The most surprising game was the first loss of Peja (8-1) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked Vellaznimi (5-5) 91-82. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Peja. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian-American forward Emmanuel Omogbo (203-1995, college: Colorado St., agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds. American point guard Anthony Adger (185, college: FAU) contributed with 21 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American Jalen Tate (198-1998, college: Arkansas) replied with 35 points (!!!) and 6 assists and his fellow American import Rodney Purvis (193-1994, college: UConn) added 13 points and 7 assists in the effort for Peja. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Vellaznimi moved-up to fourth place. Peja at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. Vellaznimi will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Peja will play again at home against Vellaznimi and is hoping to win this game.
