Regular Season Round 8: RO Luiss - Corato Adr. 97-82

Very predictable result when fifth ranked RO Luiss (6-2) won against 13th ranked Corato Adr. (2-5) in Roma 97-82 on Saturday. They outrebounded Corato Adr. 38-21 including 16 on the offensive glass. The winners were led by forward Marco Legnini (198-1996) who scored that evening 23 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all ten shots !!!) and Matija Jovovic (198-1999) supported him with 18 points and 8 rebounds. RO Luiss' coach Andrea Paccarie allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists by center Francesco Infante (204-1992) did not help to save the game for Corato Adr.. Efe Idiaru (183-1997, agency: SLN) added 20 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Five RO Luiss and four Corato Adr. players scored in double figures. RO Luiss have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with 6 other teams.
