The game in Calais was also quite interesting. Sixth ranked Chartres (4-2) played at the court of 8th ranked Calais (2-4). Chartres defeated Calais 64-49 on Saturday. They outrebounded Calais 44-31 including a 36-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American-Nigerian forward Nicole Enabosi (183-1997, college: Delaware) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Point guard Elise Marie (164-1995) chipped in 7 points and 10 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Shakayla Thomas (180-1996, college: FSU) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and guard Claire Parisi (169-1999) added 7 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists respectively. Calais' coach rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Chartres have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Montbrison. Loser Calais dropped to the ninth position with four games lost. They share it with Mondeville and Champagne. Chartres will meet La Tronche (#5) on the road in the next round. Calais will play against the league's second-placed Feytiat (#2) and hope to secure a win.
