The game in Sibenik supposed to be also worth to mention about. Top-ranked Zagreb (8-0) played at the court of 6th ranked Sibenik (4-4). Zagreb smashed Sibenik 89-49. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Sibenik. Zagreb dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Sibenik's 26. They outrebounded Sibenik 63-29 including a 25-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Ukrainian forward Vira Cherkaska (184-2002) added 7 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Zagreb have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Ragusa. Sibenik at the other side keeps the sixth place with four games lost. Zagreb will play against league's leader Ragusa in Dubrovnik in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Sibenik will play on the road against Medvescak (#4) in Zagreb and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
