Cagliari's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after six consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Roseto (2-5) 61-56 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for guard Sara Giangrasso (175-2000) who led the winners and scored 20 points. Forward Delia Gagliano (182-1997) accounted for 8 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Irish-American guard Anna Kelly (169, college: Fordham) came up with 14 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals and North Macedonian point guard Tijana Mitreva (174-2001) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Roseto in the defeat. Cagliari (1-6) left bottom position moving up to thirteenth place, which they share with Alpo. It was Roseto's fourth loss in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the tenth position with five games lost. They share it with 4 other teams.
