Not a big story in a game in Sinj where 9th ranked Alkar (3-6) was defeated by fourth ranked Split (7-2) 94-88 on Friday. Split looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American Shannon Shorter (193-1989, college: N.Texas) who scored 16 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import forward Lewis Sullivan (201-1995, college: UAB, agency: BIG) chipped in 22 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard George Brock (183-1995, college: SUNO) who recorded 22 points and 9 assists and forward Mladen Tomasevic (203-2003) added 19 points and 6 rebounds respectively.
