No shocking result in a game when fifteenth ranked Aix-Maurienne (3-3) beat 17th ranked ASA (1-5) in Aix-les-Bains 82-72 on Friday. Aix-Maurienne forced 21 ASA turnovers. Surinamese forward Gavin Kensmil (201-1998, college: SF Austin) notched 20 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and American point guard David Nichols (183-1996, college: FSU) supported him with 22 points. Even 16 points by American point guard Kyan Anderson (180-1992, college: TCU) did not help to save the game for ASA. Point guard Nathan De Sousa (191-2003) added 14 points and 5 rebounds. Four ASA players scored in double figures. Aix-Maurienne have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Quimper and St. Chamond.
