Superettan top team - Hogsbo (10-0) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat ninth ranked Sloga Uppsala (4-6) in Goteborg 87-77. Hogsbo forced 20 Sloga Uppsala turnovers. Strangely Sloga Uppsala outrebounded Hogsbo 50-38 including 35 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a quality performance of American forward Christian Stewart (201, college: BSC, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Alexander Karras (193-1998, college: E.Wyoming) who added 28 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was naturalized Serbian forward Dragan Damjanovic (203-1988) with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 16 rebounds and guard Kevin Grant (191-1994) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds. Four Sloga Uppsala players scored in double figures. Hogsbo have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 10-0 record. Sloga Uppsala lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth place with six games lost. Hogsbo are looking forward to face Tureberg (#3) in Stockholm in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Sloga Uppsala will play at home against IK Eos (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
