No shocking result in a game when second ranked Sindri (8-2) crushed at home 6th ranked IA (4-6) 109-88. Sindri made 21-of-25 charity shots (84.0 percent) during the game. Sindri outrebounded IA 38-27 including a 27-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. Sindri players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by IA's players. American swingman Tyler Stewart (203-1998, college: SFU) scored 18 points and 6 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Danish guard Oscar Teglgaard (187-1998) chipped in 22 points during the contest. Sindri's coach Israel Martin felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American power forward Jalen Dupree (205-1998, college: Tennessee St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Anders Adersteg (197-1995) scored 21 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sindri maintains second position with 8-2 record behind leader Alftanes. IA at the other side keeps the sixth place with six games lost. Sindri will play against Skallagrimur (#7) in Borganes in the next round where they are favorite. IA will play at home against Thor AK and hopes to get back on the winning track.
