There was no surprise in Szczecin where 14th ranked LKS Lodz 2 (2-10) was outplayed by twelfth ranked Ogniwo Szcz. (3-8) 102-76 on Saturday. Ogniwo Szcz. outrebounded LKS Lodz 2 51-30 including a 39-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by LKS Lodz 2's players. The best player for the winners was center Karol Pytys (202-1985) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Michal Huk (188-2001) chipped in 15 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Swingman Bartosz Keller (190-2001) produced 15 points and 7 rebounds and Jan Bosowicz (198-2004) added 12 points and 5 assists respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ogniwo Szcz. moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with 4 other teams. LKS Lodz 2 lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth position with ten games lost. They share it with Stal Ostrow 2 and AZS UJK. Ogniwo Szcz. will meet at home league's leader Tarnovia in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. LKS Lodz 2 will play against AZS UMK (#3) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
