Very predictable result when second ranked Cholet Basket (8-1) defeated at home 14th ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (3-7) 76-64 on Saturday. Cholet Basket made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Cholet Basket outrebounded Gravelines-Dunkerque 41-25 including a 35-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Boris Dallo (196-1994) fired 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Swingman Gaylor Curier (197-1992) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. Five Cholet Basket players scored in double figures. American point guard Justin Robinson (170-1995, college: Monmouth) produced 14 points and 4 assists and his fellow American import DJ Seeley (193-1989, college: CS Fullerton) added 15 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cholet Basket have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 8-1 record behind leader Levallois. Gravelines-Dunkerque lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Strasbourg and Pau-Lacq-Orthez. Cholet Basket will meet Chorale de Roanne (#13) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Gravelines-Dunkerque will play against Le Mans and hope to secure a win.
