Regular Season Round 11: Rybnik - AZS PCz 102-70

Very expected game when 14th ranked AZS PC (2-9) was crushed on the road by seventh ranked Rybnik (7-4) 102-70 on Saturday. Rybnik forced 21 AZS PC turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Kacper Wydra (180-2000) who scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Maciej Krakowczyk (200-1996) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Kamil Nawrot (198-2002) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and center Dawid Szulc (201-1999) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five Rybnik and four AZS PC players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Rybnik. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Resovia and Zary. AZS PC at the other side dropped to the thirteenth position with nine games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Rybnik will meet Resovia (#6) in the next round. AZS PC will play against Korona (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
