The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Teuta as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Teuta defeated 4th ranked Tirana in Durres 93-75. It was a great shooting night for Teuta especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Tirana's players. American point guard Mason Vires (182-1996, college: CSC, agency: One Motive Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 7 assists. The other American import power forward Avery Sullivan (203-1999, college: Lamar) contributed with 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. The former international center Endrit Hysenagolli (208-1988) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 18 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and the former international guard Marvin Prodani (187-2002) added 16 points in the effort for Tirana. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Beselidhja. Tirana lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with four games lost. They share the position with Kamza. Tirana will play next round against Vllaznia trying to get back on the winning streak. Teuta will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked Beselidhja in Lezhe.
