Regular Season Round 9: Inter Bratislava - Levice 75-70

The biggest surprise took place in Bratislava where host Inter Bratislava (7-2) beat league's leader Levice (6-3) 75-70 on Saturday evening. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Inter Bratislava made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Inter Bratislava had a 29-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American swingman JP Moorman II (201-1998, college: UC Riverside, agency: Players Group) who scored 22 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Lithuanian center Tomas Zdanavicius (203-1996) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Henri Wade-Chatman (188-1992, college: Edinboro) who recorded 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import forward Tre McCallum (201-1995, college: DePaul) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Four Levice players scored in double figures. Inter Bratislava have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader. Defending champion Levice dropped to the second place with three games lost. They share the position with Spisski Rytieri. They were replaced at the leadership position by Inter Bratislava. Levice will play next round against Komarno trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Inter Bratislava will try to continue on its current victory against eighth ranked Prievidza at home.
