No shocking result in a game in Barcelona where third ranked Barca (7-2) won against 7th ranked Granada (5-4) 100-82 on Sunday. It was a great shooting night for Barca especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American Cory Higgins (196-1989, college: Colorado) who scored 21 points. American-Slovakian Kyle Kuric (193-1989, college: Louisville) chipped in 14 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Liberian-American guard Thomas Bropleh (196-1991, college: Boise St.) who recorded 27 points and Brazilian center Cristiano Felicio (206-1992, college: Oregon) added 19 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Barca moved-up to second place, which they share with Real Madrid and Gran Canaria. Newly promoted Granada keeps the seventh position with four games lost. They share it with Joventut and Bilbao. Barca will meet Obradoiro (#14) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Granada will play against Real Betis (#18) and hope to secure a win.
