Kvinneligaen top team - Ulriken (10-0) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Ullern (3-5) in Bergen 91-44. Ulriken dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Ullern's 20. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Ullern's players. It was a quality performance for the former international guard Stine Austgulen (180-1994, college: Colorado St.) who led the winners and scored 15 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. The former international forward Maren Hoff Austgulen (182-1991, college: Idaho) accounted for 22 points (perfect from the field making all eleven shots !!!) for the winning side. Four Ulriken players scored in double figures. The former international center Tori Halvorsen (183-1988, college: American) came up with 16 points and 8 rebounds and guard Malin Schneidt (176-2001) added 6 points respectively for Ullern in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ulriken have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with 10-0 record. Loser Ullern keeps the fifth position with five games lost. Ulriken will meet at home Midtbyen (#4) in the next round. Ullern will play against the league's second-placed Baerum and hope to secure a win.
