The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Umea 2 as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Umea 2 defeated 8th ranked KFUM Black. at home 91-77. Umea 2 forced 27 KFUM Black. turnovers. It was a good game for swingman David Jallow (198-1993) who led his team to a victory with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Max Lindblom (-1999) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Umea 2's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Joacim Edlund (200-1993) answered with 19 points and 8 rebounds and Hosse Tesfay (-2004) added 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for KFUM Black.Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. KFUM Black. at the other side dropped to the seventh place with five games lost. They share the position with Jamtland 2. KFUM Black. will play next round against KFUM Sundsvall trying to get back on the winning streak. Umea 2 will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked Lulea S. on the road.
