Regular Season Round 9: Olivar - Tarragona 57-67

There was a small surprise in Zaragoza where tenth ranked Tarragona (4-5) defeated 7th ranked Olivar (4-5) 67-57 on Sunday. Guard Adria Duch (185-1995) stepped up and scored 17 points for the winners and French-American forward Alexandre Doche (199-1995, college: Huston-Tillotson) chipped in 6 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was center Aday Mara (220-2005) with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and forward Pablo Aso Jimenez (200-2003) scored 7 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Tarragona moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 9 other teams including defeated Olivar. Tarragona will meet at home Esparreguera (#11) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Olivar will play against Navas (#3) and hope to secure a win.
