There was an upset in Tbilisi where higher ranked Kutaisi (1-3) was defeated by eleventh ranked Vera (1-4) 85-77 on Monday. Kutaisi trailed by 19 points after 3 quarters before a 24-13 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 77-85 at the end of the game. The best player for the winners was American guard Martyce Kimbrough (185-1996, college: Findlay, OH) who scored 29 points and 6 rebounds. The former international guard Luka Zakradze (193-1996) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. American forward Jarvis Ray (198-1990, college: TCU) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import center Chris Ware (203-1989, college: Indiana Tech) added 17 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests. Kutaisi's coach Kote Tugushi tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Vera left bottom position moving up to tenth place, which they share with Mega. It was Kutaisi's third loss in a row. Defending champion keeps the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with Batumi and Titebi.
