There was an upset in Tbilisi where higher ranked Kutaisi (1-3) was defeated by eleventh ranked Vera (1-4) 85-77 on Monday. Kutaisi trailed by 19 points after 3 quarters before a 24-13 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 77-85 at the end of the game. The best player for the winners was American guard Martyce Kimbrough (185-1996, college: Findlay, OH) who scored 29 points and 6 rebounds. The former international guard Luka Zakradze (193-1996) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds.
