The biggest surprise of round 11 in LF Challenge was guest Al-Qazeres' (#6) road victory over Alcobendas (#7) 74-70 on Tuesday evening. The best player for the winners was American-Jamaican guard Crystal Primm (180-1997, college: FAU) who scored 22 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Celia Garcia-Panuero (180-1995, college: UIW) chipped in 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Lucia Togores (176-1996) produced 16 points and 8 assists and power forward Clara Rodriguez (184-1996) added 12 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Five Alcobendas players scored in double figures. Alcobendas' coach Julian Sanchez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Al-Qazeres maintains sixth place with 6-5 record, which they share with Ardoi. Alcobendas at the other side dropped to the eighth position with six games lost. They share it with Picken Claret and Estepona. Al-Qazeres is looking forward to face Picken Claret (#8) in Valencia in the next round. Alcobendas will play on the road against Paterna and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
