We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 13th ranked Berck (3-9) was defeated at home by fourteenth ranked CFBB (2-10) 57-52 on Tuesday. CFBB forced 26 Berck turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Noa Essengue (196-2006) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and forward Maxim Logue (203-2005) who added 12 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. CFBB's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was swingman Adrien Henocq (194-1996) with 11 points and 4 assists and guard Alexandre Mendy (189-1990) scored 9 points. CFBB moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Kaysersberg. Berck lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the twelfth position with nine games lost. They share it with Tours and Boulogne. CFBB will meet at home higher ranked C'Chartres (#4) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Berck will play against Poitiers (#9) and hope to secure a win.
