Important game to mention about took place in Chalon. Fourteenth ranked Entente Orleans 45 (3-4) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging much higher ranked Chalon/Saor (4-3) 63-62 on Tuesday evening. Strangely Chalon/Saor outrebounded Entente Orleans 45 44-29 including 31 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for Jamaican-Canadian point guard Jarred Ogungbemi-Jackson (178-1991, college: Calgary, agency: Slash Sports) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Cameroonian center Junior MBida (206-1990) accounted for 8 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. The former international guard Antoine Eito (188-1988) came up with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and Swedish center Mattias Markusson (220-1996, college: LMU) added 8 points and 13 rebounds respectively for Chalon/Saor in the defeat. Chalon/Saor's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Entente Orleans 45 moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with 4 other teams. Chalon/Saor at the other side dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. They share it with 5 other teams. Entente Orleans 45 will play against ASA (#17) in Gries in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
