A1 top team - Olympiacos (8-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighth ranked Proteas (3-5) in Voula 90-59. Olympiacos made 17-of-20 charity shots (85.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 26 Proteas turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. The winners were led by American forward Megan Gustafson (190-1996, college: Iowa) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and the former international forward Anna Spyridopoulou (184-1988) supported her with 12 points, 7 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals. Four Olympiacos players scored in double figures. Even 11 points and 6 rebounds by American power forward Sarah Boothe (195-1990, college: Stanford) did not help to save the game for Proteas.
