Regular Season Round 7: Sjuharads - Mark 76-74

Sjuharads' fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after five consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Mark (3-5) 76-74. It was a great evening for the former international forward Elin Ljunggren (185-1996) who led her team to a victory scoring 24 points and 9 rebounds. The former international forward Paula Juhlin (184-1991) helped adding 9 points and 12 rebounds. At the losing side American forward Brianna Herlihy (183-1998, college: Villanova) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and American-Irish power forward Bridget Herlihy (188-1997, college: Villanova) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Four Mark players scored in double figures. Sjuharads (1-5) left bottom position moving up to ninth place. It was Mark's third loss in a row. They keep the seventh position with five games lost. Sjuharads will play against higher ranked Ostersund (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Mark will have a break next round.
