The game between closely ranked teams ended with 10th ranked Mega's (1-5) road loss to ninth ranked Kutaisi (2-3) 73-82 on Thursday. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 31-21. But Mega won second period 16-10. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kutaisi forced 25 Mega turnovers. Maziashvili is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Kutaisi players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Marqus Gilson (196, college: CWU) with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field) and swingman Otari Buliava (198-1994) scored 14 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Defending champion moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Batumi. Loser Mega keeps the tenth position with five games lost. They share it with Vera.
