Regular Season Round 6: Ramat Hasharon - H.Rishon LZ 79-73

Bottom-ranked Ramat Hasharon managed to get a second victory. This time they won against fifth-ranked H.Rishon LZ 79-73. It was a great shooting night for Ramat Hasharon especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a good game for American swingman Jazmine Jones (183-1996, college: Louisville) who led her team to a victory with 22 points, 6 assists and 5 steals. The other American import forward Alisia Jenkins (186-1994, college: S.Florida) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Ramat Hasharon players scored in double figures. American forward Kaila Charles (185-1998, college: Maryland) replied with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds and international swingman Eden Zipel (183-2002) added 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for H.Rishon LZ. Ramat Hasharon (2-4) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated H.Rishon LZ. H.Rishon LZ lost third consecutive game. Ramat Hasharon will play against E.Holon (#9) in Holon in the next round. H.Rishon LZ will play at home against M.Ramat Gan (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
