Very expected game when 9th ranked Uppsala (4-9) lost at home to fifth ranked Jamtland (7-4) 89-83. It was a great shooting night for Jamtland especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Pierre Hampton (201-1991) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 5 assists and American guard Landrius Horton (193-1998, college: Columbus St.) who added 20 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Jamtland players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Jordan Shepherd (193, college: California) responded with 25 points and 5 assists and his fellow American import guard Anthony Mathis (193-1996, college: Oregon) scored 25 points. Uppsala's coach Panagiotis Nikolaidis rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Jamtland have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 7-4 record. Newly promoted Uppsala keeps the ninth place with nine games lost. Jamtland will play against Koping Stars (#7) at home in the next round. Uppsala will play against the league's second-placed Umea and hopes to get back on the winning track.
