NM1 top team - Union Rennes (11-2) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed eleventh ranked Les Sables (4-9) in Les Sables-D'Ollone 86-55. Union Rennes forced 29 Les Sables turnovers. Union Rennes looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Point guard Sebastien Cape (185-1993) nailed 21 points and 7 assists for the winning side and naturalized Mali point guard Ibrahima Sidibe (180-1995) accounted for 20 points and 5 steals. Naturalized Iranian swingman Navide Niktash (203-1991, agency: BIG) came up with 16 points and 8 rebounds and Alexis Racine (191-1995) added 12 points respectively for Les Sables in the defeat. Les Sables' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the third consecutive win for Union Rennes.
